Hi! Sent a message through the contact form quite while ago, but never got a reply. I don't know if you guys received it or not, so here it is again.

Thank you for the beautiful app! I love Night Stand, and I'm happy it gets better with each release. You do a great job with bug fixes and new features.

Here's a bug I noticed: when the region other than United States is set on a system level (United Kingdom, for example), all of the alarms are displayed in AM time. Check out a sceenshot: http://cl.ly/1Al3

I also have an idea I'd love you to to consider. Is it really necessary to have "HD" in the app's name label on the Home Screen? Especially considering the icon features features an "HD" mark as well.

It might be a good idea to use the "HD" in marketing, and to distinguish the app in the App Store, but you can have different text as the app's name for the App Store description and for the home screen. it'd wonderful if Night Stand dropped it from the home screen label.

Thanks for dropping by in our forums. We keep getting a lot of emails so there was quite a backlog, but I'm here to clear that up now. ;)

I'm glad you like the efforts we've put into Night Stand. Words like yours always encourage us to do even better (Psst... you're gonna love what we're working on for the next update.)

I can confirm that the issue with the alarm time is a bug and I've notified the dev team about it. Took me a while to reproduce it, but then it hit me. Thanks for reporting the bug. We'll have a fix out there soon.

As for your suggestion, the HD is included in the App's name because we have two different versions of Night Stand on the App Store. So to be able to distinguish between the two, we kept it like that.

I'm happy to hear that you were able to reproduce the bug and it'll be fixed!

I might be wrong, I thought it'd make Night Stand look better on the home screen if it dropped the HD from the home screen label, since it's already included in the icon.

I understand you concerns about distinguishing the two versions on the App Store, and I know you feel it's important to do so. I believe the label on the home screen can be different from the name on the App Store, and the two versions will still be distinguished.

Twitterrific, for example (another app I love as much as Night Stand), is called "Twitterrific for Twitter" on the App Store, but on the home screen it's just "Twitterrific".

As a result, Night Stand would look on the home screen like it does in your ad (fantastic ad, by the way): http://cl.ly/1YLr The decision, of course, is up to you, I'm merely suggesting this little change.

Thanks for your inputs, Anton. We note down every single feedback we receive, and often brainstorm on what we need to change in the upcoming versions. You make a good point about about the listed name and the App's label being independent.

Just a quick update for you. The app's name on the homescreen will be displayed as 'Night Stand' only from the next update onwards.
